Sherrie, Thank you SOOO much for the lovely note!!! Glad you’re loving Kitchen Cures!! Makes me happy to hear So sorry to hear about everything you’ve gone through, but glad to hear your building up your strength and immune system. Fermented foods are all rich in probiotic cultures. In addition to Kombucha, these include: miso, kimchee (which is a fermented cabbage), kefir, raw sauerkraut, tempeh and natto. Chlorella, which is a green algae, also strengthens the immune system, and vitamin D is super important as well. I should start posting recipes for some more fermented foods!
Love love love your show. Got to see 2 shows on foods that help with joint inflammation and stress. All I can say is WOW!!!! Saw on Amazon that you are bringing out a book this year. I am hoping you will include a solid list of yummy recipes to cook for helping with joint pain as well as those mentioned on the show. I have torn a cartilage in my knee and displaced my knee cap plus have some arthritus and icky things. Very painful and will need to have keyhole surgery to fix it but I want to help my body as much as possible. You are amazing and it is so awesome to see someone so passionate about food that is simple and healthy. The to add in specific recipes for various conditions makes you show brilliant.

Thanks so so so much for your lovely note!!! I’m so glad to hear you love the show!! My new book is coming out the end of summer called “kitchen cures” and it does have yummy, healthy, anti-inflammatory recipes included, as well as an ENTIRE chapter on Pain and Inflammation. I’ve also had some pretty nasty injuries to my knee and something that really helped me is a supplement called “Natural Eggshell Membrane” Here are some brands that carry it: Genuine Health: Fast Joint Care + (this is the one I use), Natural Factors: Glucoseamine Sulfate & NEM, New Roots: Joint Pain Relief and Jamieson: NEM (natural eggshell membrane). This stuff is AMAZING!!! I noticed a hugh difference within DAYS and I can’t believe the amount of testimonials from people who’ve I suggested it to.. worth trying out! Thanks again for all your support!!

Hello Peggy, My husband and I were sitting down to an evening meal and we, too, discovered your show. It is fantastic. Your meals are nutritional yet exciting and tantalising at the same time. We are from a Sicilian background and many of the foods and salads are similar to our cooking. Congratulations on an amazing show. We look forward to tuning in again. Kind Regards, Antonella & Sav
